Description


We invite you to discover one of the biggest sand dunes in Morocco. On the way to Erg Chigaga, you will travel across a variety of terrains including rocky plains, mountains, and golden sand dunes.

You will witness stunning landscapes as you pass through the Draa Valley, the largest palm oasis in Morocco. Along the way, you will learn about ancient Amazigh (Berber) villages, meet local people, and enjoy opportunities to take beautiful photos.

This journey leads you to the desert of M’hamid El Ghizlane for an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, authenticity, and pure desert magic. Get ready for moments of fun, discovery, and deep connection with the Sahara.


Your journey begins early in the morning as we pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.

We drive across the High Atlas Mountains through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views, traditional Amazigh villages, and breathtaking natural landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival at the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, you will explore one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. This remarkable site has served as a backdrop for many world-renowned films including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

After a traditional lunch near the kasbah, we continue toward Agdez, located at the gateway to the Draa Valley, where you will spend the night in a charming local accommodation.

After breakfast, we begin our journey through the magnificent Draa Valley, the longest and most beautiful palm oasis in Morocco.

Our route leads us through Zagora and the historic village of Tamgroute, where you can visit the ancient Nasiriyya Zaouia, an important spiritual and cultural center that includes a mosque, a famous library, and traditional artisan workshops.

After lunch, we continue toward Mhamid, the last village before the Sahara begins. Here, you will have time to rest and prepare for the desert experience.

A camel ride will take you into the golden dunes of Erg Chegaga, where you can admire an unforgettable sunset before arriving at your desert camp.

Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a magical night under the stars in the heart of the Sahara.

After sunrise and breakfast at the camp, you will return by camel to the meeting point, then transfer to your hotel for a shower and relaxation before departure.

We drive back toward Ouarzazate, where you will have lunch and visit highlights such as Taourirt Kasbah and the famous Atlas Studios, known for hosting numerous international films and series.

In the afternoon, we continue across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech, where your tour comes to an end.
